Ways to Help ACGSR Help the Animals

Animal Transporter

An Animal Transporter volunteer can help ACGSR by:

Driving animals from foster homes/shelter to veterinary appointments in the Hollister area

Accompanying an ACGSR representative to out-of-town, new home locations

Transporting animals from Hollister Animal Shelter to the Bay Area, Gilroy, Hollister, Monterey SPCA, Santa Cruz Shelter, or to other out-of-area rescues

ACGRS, Inc. is under the "501(c)3 Tax Exempt Organization" classification.
Donations may be tax deductible under sections 170, 2055, 2106, and 2522 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Healthy food for the dogs and cats in our Foster Homes

Your Donation will help provide for vaccinations, spay/neuter, testing, de-worming, dental care, and in some cases special veterinary care.
Donate towards a ThunderShirt. ThunderWorks has donated thousands of ThunderShirts directly to shelters and adoption organizations across the country.

Feed Feral Cats

URGENT: We need volunteers to fill vacant spots for feeding our feral cat sites.

It takes less than five minutes to do it, plus driving time.

The cats depend on us.

Please call if you can spare the time, even to feed one evening a week, we would be grateful.

Feed time is varies during the summer and winter.

Fostering (See Agreements)

Fostering an animal is welcoming it into your home environment and giving it loving care.

This can last anywhere from until the animal finds her/his forever home, or as long a time period that works for you.

ACGSR helps with food, litter boxes, and other supplies and support needed.
